​Soriano prevails in boys swimming

     Rex Wendel Soriano of G8 SPS FCR triumphed in different categories of Boy’s Swimming in QNHS Intramurals at the Alcala Sports Complex last July 20. He got four gold and one silver medals from different categories Soriano beat his opponents as he got the time 10:50.73 in the 800m Freestyle Secondary Boys, 2:57.89 in the 200m Backstroke Secondary Boys and 2:31.08 in the 200m Freestyle Secondary Boys. During the 800m Freestyle Secondary Boys, Soriano got an arm sprain but he was able to finish the line.“Mag training, think positive, kumain at uminom.”said Soriano for his proficiency in winning.         He is a back-to-back champion and he will advance to Congressional Meet this year. Soriano swims for the golds.

     The swimming champion Rex Soriano Grade 8 SPS FCR competed for the Quezon NHS 2017 Intramurals held at Alcala Sports Complex on July 19-21.

     As the last year swimming champion, he  didn’t expect that he will be awarded as the champion for this year’s intramurals.

     He received numerous awards including five golds, seven silvers and two bronze medals.

     Ms. Grace, as the head of the swimming, his coach, announced all of the categories for the said event and one of event that Soriano competed.

     All his hard work fell off after he receive all his awards.

     He also said “all I do to win this competition is to eat well and train well to be ready for the event.               Soriano have won in some of the categories which are 1st in 800 m freestyle secondary boys with the time of 10:50, 2nd in 200m backstroke secondary boys with the time of 2:57, 1st in 400m in 200m freestyle second with the time of 2:31 so he was presented as the champion in swimming as Sophomore were his best to represent the gr.8 Tigers.
