Being in the Calabarzon region, they are still in pretty close
proximity to Manila Although not quite as famous for scuba diving as Batangas, there are still some beautiful beaches and other fascinating places to visit in Quezon province. Here are the list ofTop 5 most visited tourist spots in the region.
People think why this place is called Borawan, because Boracay and Palawan are really a perfect mix to represent it.To inform other Borawan is just a beah not an island. It is located in Padre Burgos in Quezon Province. When you left alone in the morning really early you could do this as a day trip, that's how close it is.
Dampalitan is quite unusual in that there are many pine trees mixed with the palm trees along the shoreline. The sand, if not better than PutingBuhangin, is just as good. It was already quite late in the afternoon when we arrived so we decided to stay and watch the sunset. It is probably still one of the finest sunsets I've ever seen up to this day. Striking really.
There is not only a spectacular waterfall, though man-made, but in fact there is also a restaurant constructed at the bottom of the waterfall. This means that while you are ankle-deep water you can actually sit down and eat. In reality, Villa Escudero is a coconut plantation that has been turned into a resort.
Puting Buhangin means, literally, white sand. This is situated on Grande Island in Pagbilao and is about a 30-40 minute boat ride from Borawan beach. This area is also known as Kwebang Lampas at the end of the beach which is also the name of the cave. This is indeed a private beach but it is open to the public.
The locals call Mt. Banahaw "Holy Mountain," and it is considered to be a very sacred place. This is a popular hiking destination. If you're interested in hiking and adventure then this is a great place to visit.
